Patients with weekly bad dreams were five times more likely to be depressed (odds ratio =4.61 95% confidence interval =2.03–10.48), five times more likely to be anxious (OR=5.32 95% CI=2.36–12.01), and seven times more likely to have insomnia (OR=7.15 95% CI=2.41–21.22).
